"TIME, AT HERMÈS, IS ALSO AN OBJECT"
From the tension that inhabits it, the house has made it a singularity,
everyday life becomes a space for play and the moment is a privileged moment.
Rather than measuring, sequencing, controlling, the house dares another time,
intended to arouse emotions, open parentheses, create spaces of fantasy, of recreation.
Arceau, Dressage, Clipper, Cape Cod, Heure H:
collections that have become famous for their sober and contemporary design,
while representing the timeless values of HERMÈS.
The love story between the famous Parisian family business and Swiss watchmaking
has been going on since 1928, when HERMÈS started designing his first watches.
Since 1978, it has had its own workshops in Biel, while collaborating with the best specialized craftsmen.
The HERMÈS Watch is like the House: distinguished, poetic and timeless.
H 08
Between tension and fluidity, robustness and delicacy, the new Hermès H 08 watch is an object of balance through which opposites and contrasts enter into a harmonious dialogue and fully fits into the masculine universe of the house.
It is an object of balance through which opposites and contrasts dialogue in harmony.
The H 08, this new interpretation of Hermès time subtly reveals the complexity of the mechanical architecture.
ARCEAU
Designed by Henri d’Origny in 1978, the Arceau watch is the epitome of formal classicism tinged with singularity.
Its sober and carefully studied design, its round case with asymmetrical stirrup-shaped lugs, along with
its sloping font evoking a galloping horse, all contribute to establishing its timeless yet contemporary nature.
Hovering between shadow and light, this new interpretation of Hermès time subtly reveals the complexity of mechanical architecture.
CAPE COD
Born from the singular vision of Henri d’Origny, who invented it in 1991 - inspired from the Chaîne d’ancre link, by sketching a square inside a rectangle, Cape Cod consistently adapts to the mood of the times, expressing creative abundance through fascinating interpretations of the original design.
Its success was further amplified by Martin Margiela’s novel idea for his very first Hermès runway show in 1998: adding a double-wrap strap that would later be known simply as the “Double Tour”.
The Cape Cod watch became an icon, almost a style in its own right. Everything was possible...
HEURE H
A strong and unmistakable signature, the Heure H, created in 1996 under the creative impetus of the designer Philippe Mouquet, is more than just a watch:
it is a symbol that has succeeded in retaining its energy, dynamism and freshness.
Notably thanks to a unique idea: that of capturing time inside a letter.
A strong concept and a playful and confident way in which to shape the passing of time.
MEDOR
First created in 1993, the Médor watch originated from one of the fi rst objects produced
by Hermès alongside the harness: the dog collar.
The ingenious and slightly mischievous Médor watch has fun with the passing of time by alternately concealing it under a domed cover or discreetly revealing it.
This inspired creation comes in several colourful versions. Available in two sizes and graced with gold
or steel pyramid studs, the Médor watch may be gem-set along its edges or entirely paved with diamonds, further underscoring the precious nature of this jealously safeguarded time.
NANTUCKET
Downsizing does not mean simplifying, as is admirably demonstrated by the now extremely dainty Nantucket watch.
At its birth in 1991, it featured an elongated case with the “anchor chain” motif dreamed up by Henri d’Origny.
Available in steel or gem-set rose gold versions, it is teamed with colourful single or double wrap-around straps lending the final touch to its resolutely elegant aura.
SLIM
Hermès presents a new watch collection born of a stylistic exercise on the theme of aesthetic purity: Slim d’Hermès.
This determination to aim for essentials results in lines distinguished by their elementary sobriety, expressed through the slenderness of a case. The broad dial opening immediately draws the gaze, while the design of the lugs forms a right angle.
The extreme simplicity of this watch conveys a movement towards essentials in a rigorous, beautifully balanced manner.
This watch for both men and women comes in three sizes.
